I offer a varitey of services to suit your needs . If you know what you want and have already chosen the fabric, I can sew it for you. If you have no idea in the world what you might want and your windows have been bare for three years becuase you can't decide , I can definately help!  I make the process as easy for you as possible.  I can search out the fabrics, and decide upon the style most suited to your life for you. 

How to Schedule an In Home Consultation:

      Contact me through the form on the contact page or email me at createaviewdesigns@gmail.com.   I will respond within 24 hours ☺.  Please let me know what city you live in and what you are looking for. I will call you and find out more about what you are looking for.  Then we schedule an In Home Consultation.

        The In Home Consultation is $60.  This includes two visits:  a first visit to come out, take photos and measurements and find out about you and your home.  The second visit it to present to you a proposal for your soft furnishings.  This initial fee also includes travel and research time in preparing your proposal.   I will provide fabric and trim samples, photos and sometimes drawings   to show you what we will create for your home.  The time between consultation visits is usually about 1 to 2 weeks depending on how many rooms and windows you have.
        You are presented with a cost proposal along with the fabric and style samples on the second visit.  This breaks down to the penny where the money goes.  Fabric and trim, labor, installation, and of course, taxes are listed so you know exactly what is what. 
        After we have decided upon the styles and fabrics, I require a 50% deposit of the total cost of materials and labor.  The other half is due upon installation of the work.
        When hiring me, we sign a contract that outlines exactly the work I am to do and how much money is to be paid for it. This protects everyone.
        I try to have items ready to install within 4 weeks. Entire home projects take a bit longer but I will keep you updated regularly. 
        I design and sew the items. They are created in my smoke free/pet free home in Chesapeake, Virginia .

    Installation:
        I prefer to use a professional installer for all window treatments. This way it is done right.  I use an excellent installer, his rates are very reasonable and to this date nothing he has ever installed has some down or had any problems.  So I would like to implore those of you who are trying to save money by Doing It Yourself please just let Mr. Larry do it right and do it quickly. Window treatments are an investment into your home  when hung correctly.


Guarantee:
        I guarantee all materials and workmanship: Everything from the zippers to the installation. UPON REASONBLE WEAR. (I can tell if your nephews used my cushions to build a rotating space station in the backyard.  That is not reasonable wear.  )

        It is always good to ask for references when hiring anyone that is going to work closely with you and your family in your home.  I am happy to provide you with the contact information for clients whom I have worked with in the past.   This information can be obtained after the first in home consultation.
